Street and through the neighborhood behind the school. We will return to the school by way of
Higgins Street. All students and staff are able to participate but everyone is
encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Food Network.
SPECIAL VOTING
There
will be voting at Bartlett Elementary School on Wednesday, December 4th. On the ballot will be a warrant article on
the formation of an AREA School Planning Committee, which will make a
recommendation on an AREA agreement with New Boston. Polls are open from 7 am – 7 pm. Please note that school will be in session
for students. Remember to vote!
OUR FIRST
SCRAMBLE DAY
Next Thursday we will be holding our first
Scramble Day of the year. For 45
minutes, students will be mixed up into small groups to participate in special
activities. This is a community building
activity organized in part by the PBIS team.
Students involvement in future
monthly Scramble Days will be based on their behavior and work effort
during the month.
PICTURE RETAKE
If you weren’t satisfied with your child’s
school picture or if your child was absent on picture day, a picture retake day
has been scheduled for next Monday, October 28th. In order to have pictures retaken, the
complete original packet needs to be returned on Picture Retake Day. If your child’s picture was not taken and you
need an order form, they are available in the front lobby.
HANNAFORD
HELPS SCHOOLS
Hannaford Helps Schools is a program that provides
schools an opportunity to raise money for playgrounds, assemblies, etc. When
customers purchase participating products at any Hannaford Supermarkets, now
through the beginning of December, they will receive “School Dollar”
certificates at the register. These may be deposited in the collection tower in
the store. Look for the slot labeled, “Bartlett School”. You may also bring
these certificates to the school through December 1st. We appreciate your
support.
REMINDER
Many
children are without hats and mittens/gloves.
We are finally experiencing cold weather and proper attire is a
must. Recess is part of the school day
and all students go outside, weather permitting. Please make sure your child is dressed for
the weather when they leave for school in the morning. Thank you very much.
