NEWS FROM THE PRINCIPAL

VOTE  ON MARCH 12!
Please be a role model to your children by remembering to vote on March 12th.  Voting booths will be open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. While you are voting, all Pinardville students will be able to participate in the Kids Voting program. Students will have a special ballot to vote for items that are important to them.  Help your child see the importance of voting by being a good role model and by bringing them to vote too!

SCHOOL RENOVATION PROJECT
Renovation projects for Bartlett Elementary and Maple Avenue Schools will be on the March ballot.    Bartlett’s project includes additional classroom and small group spaces, an art and music room, a library, special education and reading rooms, a new kitchen and site improvements.  There will also be numerous updates to the ventilation and electrical systems and safety improvements.  In order to make an informed decision when you vote in March, you can obtain information at: http://goffstown.k12.nh.us/SAU19/index.php/elementary-facilities-renovation. There are also brochures in the school lobby with information about the building projects.

DR. SEUSS'S BIRTHDAY
We will be celebrating Dr. Seuss's birthday tomorrow night at 6:00 PM.  Come join us in celebrating Dr. Seuss's birthday and listen to some wonderful stories.  The book fair will also be open during the evening!

ST. PATRICK’S SPIRIT DAY

We will be having a Spirit Day for St. Patrick’s Day on Friday, March 15th.  Students and staff are asked to wear Lucky Green clothing.  Pictures will be taken of some students for our yearbook.

BREAKFAST WITH THE EASTER BUNNY
On Saturday, March 23rd, the Bartlett PTA will host "Breakfast With the Easter Bunny" in the Bartlett Elementary School cafeteria.  Besides having a delicious pancake breakfast, children will be able to have their picture taken with the Easter Bunny, participate in numerous activities, raffles and enjoy a cakewalk.  So join us from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM.  A fun-filled day will be had by all!

CAKE DECORATING CONTEST
As part of the Easter Bunny Breakfast celebration, a cake decorating contest will once again be held this year.  Baked goods for the contest are to be dropped off on the morning of March 22nd.  To avoid traffic pile-ups, someone will greet you at the door to take your entry. Judging will take place mid-morning.  Donated cakes can not be returned and will be used for the Cake Walk during Easter Bunny Breakfast.

If you have a child that will be entering first grade next fall, or know somebody who does, please call the school at 623-8088 to begin the registration process.  A child must be six years old on or before September 30th to enter the first grade.
